Carrier Equipment Built for Climate Demands
Creadore Air Conditioning Inc. installs and services the full Carrier product line from entry-level Comfort series units to the variable-speed Infinity series and has been doing so across Westchester's residential and commercial properties for over a century. Carrier's range of central air conditioning systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, and ductless mini-split systems covers virtually every property configuration found in this region.
A combination of humid summers and cold winters demands equipment sized and installed with precision. An undersized unit runs constantly without achieving comfort. An oversized unit short-cycles, leaving humidity uncontrolled and wearing out components ahead of schedule. Our installation process starts with a proper load calculation, not a rule-of-thumb estimate. Hence, the Carrier system we recommend is the right fit for your specific property from day one. Every installation is backed by a free quote and carried out by fully insured technicians.
Carrier System Tiers Available Through Us
Carrier organizes its residential and commercial product line into three tiers. Each tier is suited to a different combination of budget, property size, and comfort priority. The right tier for your property depends on the building's load requirements, existing ductwork, and how much you want to invest in long-term energy efficiency over the life of the system.
Comfort Series
The entry-level Carrier tier. Reliable single-stage performance for budget-conscious homeowners replacing an aging system. Best suited to properties where the priority is dependable cooling and heating at a predictable cost, without the premium of variable-speed technology. A strong choice for rental properties or secondary residences where advanced controls are not required.
Performance Series
The mid-tier option. Two-stage and some multi-stage models deliver noticeably better humidity control and more consistent temperatures than single-stage units, a meaningful upgrade for humid summers. Performance series equipment typically offers a better energy-cost payback over five to eight years compared to entry-level units in primary residences with regular occupancy.
Infinity Series
Carrier's flagship line. Variable-speed compressor technology allows the system to modulate output continuously, holding the indoor environment at a precise setpoint with minimal on/off cycling. The Infinity series includes Carrier's smart thermostat integration and is the appropriate choice for large homes, high-specification renovations, and commercial properties where comfort consistency and operating efficiency are the primary criteria.
How a Carrier Installation Works With Us
We handle every stage in-house, with no subcontracting and no handoffs. Here is exactly what to expect from the first call to the final commissioning check.
Site Assessment
Before any equipment is specified, a Creadore technician visits the property. We assess the existing ductwork or determine whether a ductless configuration makes more practical and economic sense. We note the property's age, insulation condition, window area, and any previous system performance complaints.
Load Calculation
We calculate the correct system size using the Manual J load calculation methodology, the industry standard for matching HVAC equipment to a building's actual thermal load. This eliminates the guesswork that leads to oversized or undersized systems. The load calculation result directly determines which Carrier system tier and model we recommend.
Ductwork Evaluation
In older housing stock, ductwork is frequently the limiting factor in a new system's performance. We evaluate duct condition, sizing, and sealing before the Carrier equipment is ordered. Where duct repairs or partial replacement are needed, we scope that work into the project quote, so there are no surprises on installation day.
Installation Day
The old equipment is removed and disposed of properly. Refrigerant lines and electrical connections are run to code. The new Carrier unit is mounted, charged to the manufacturer's specification, and connected to the duct system or, for ductless configurations, to the indoor air handlers. All penetrations are sealed.
System Commissioning
Before we leave the property, the installed Carrier system is tested across its full operating range. We verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical draw, and thermostat response. You receive a walkthrough of the system controls and documentation of the Carrier manufacturer warranty. No technician leaves a job until the system is confirmed fully operational.
Why Carrier Works for Properties
Westchester County runs a specific seasonal gauntlet. Summer relative humidity regularly exceeds 70 percent, putting continuous pressure on a cooling system's dehumidification capacity. A system that cannot hold humidity below 55 percent indoors is not performing adequately regardless of the temperature setting. Carrier's Performance and Infinity series both address this directly; their multi-stage and variable-speed compressors run longer at lower capacity, removing more moisture per cooling cycle than single-stage units.
The housing stock skews older; many properties date to the early and mid-20th century. These homes often feature original ductwork, varied ceiling heights, and additions that complicate load calculations for contractors who don't know the region. After more than a century of HVAC work, we've handled every combination of system type, property age, and seasonal failure pattern this area produces. That experience is specific to Carrier equipment, to properties, and to the climate conditions your system will face every year.
